A Zion Canyon Panarama
Effect is created by doubling the image size, applying the
"Cutout" filter seperately to each color channel, then resizing it
back down. This creates an interesting "painted" effect, particularly
in any complex color pattern - flat colors work less well.
An Odd Formation
Just outside Zion Canyon.
Same effect. I like the way sky turned out in this one.
Lake Thomas A. Edison
Same effect. This effect is at its strongest when the initial
color pattern is complex, as with the rippling water. It's less strong
when dealing with simple color patterns, such as the sky, here.
